The Time Type Matrix frame allows you to define the various pay scales that your organization will have available to use on payroll for all your work shifts. These pay scales are defined using the Time Type codes for regular time, overtime, double-time, etc. The Matrix is also used to decide which of these types is the default. Only one default can be chosen. Most companies chose a Regular Time type as the default.
To view or modify the Time Type Matrix select its row. You may modify the type codes for the overtime rate, the double-time rate and select new defaults as desired. Click on save when you are done.
To set up a new Time Type on your matrix go to the last empty row on the table. Enter the new Base Pay type code. Press tab and select its new overtime and double-time type codes. Select new defaults as desired. Click on save when you are done.
